Honest Review: Tiger Go Go – New Jajangmyeon Spot in Las Vegas Cheongdam Food Hall 🍜

A bowl of jajangmyeon for just $6.96 in Las Vegas?
Sounds too good to be true, right?

Recently, a new Korean-Chinese restaurant called Tiger Go Go opened inside Cheongdam Food Hall, a modern food court-style dining space in Las Vegas. With affordable prices and a promising menu, I went to check it out for myself β€” and here’s my honest take on the food, flavors, and overall experience.

πŸ“ Location Details

  • Restaurant Name: Tiger Go Go (호림각)
  • Inside: Cheongdam Food Hall
  • Address: 8610 W Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89117

Cheongdam Food Hall is a modern and trendy food court space in Las Vegas, and Tiger Go Go is one of its newest additions β€” a compact, no-frills Korean-Chinese stall offering some of the most affordable Asian dishes in town.

🍽 Menu & My Honest Thoughts

βœ” Jajangmyeon – $6.96

Let’s start with the classic. The price is hard to beat, especially in Vegas.

  • The black bean sauce was decent β€” sweet, mild, and familiar to anyone who’s had Korean-style jajangmyeon.
  • But… the noodles were a letdown.

❗ β€œThe noodles were overcooked and too soft. They lacked that chewy bite you want in jajangmyeon.”

Overall, the sauce was okay, but the texture of the noodles really hurt the experience.

βœ” Jjamppong – $13.95

  • The broth was actually quite nice β€” spicy, smoky, and satisfying.
  • Mostly filled with vegetables rather than seafood or meat.
  • Unfortunately, the same noodle issue came up again.

❗ β€œThe broth is great, but the noodles… again, overcooked and limp.”
❗ β€œI found myself just sipping the soup instead of finishing the whole bowl.”

βœ” Small Tangsuyuk (Sweet & Sour Pork) – $9.95

  • Pleasant surprise!
  • The batter was crispy, the pork was tender, and the sauce was nicely balanced β€” sweet and tangy, Korean-style.
  • Portion size was great for one person or to share as a side.

βœ… β€œThis was actually the best dish out of the three. Solid texture, solid flavor.”

  • Want a quick and affordable meal inside Cheongdam Food Hall

  • Want a truly authentic Korean-Chinese restaurant experience

Final Thoughts ✍️

Tiger Go Go has great pricing, and for that alone, it’s worth trying once.
But if you’re picky about noodle texture (like I am), you may find yourself a bit disappointed β€” especially with the jajangmyeon and jjamppong.

That said, the tangsuyuk really impressed me, and I’d probably go back just to get that with a bowl of rice.

If you’re in Cheongdam Food Hall, it’s a good place for a cheap, quick bite β€” just manage your expectations, and stick to what they do best.
